In-N-Out to Austin: Burger Chain Begins Development Near Hancock Center
“Those are good burgers, Walter.” The infamous In-N-Out will at long last be making it’s way to Central Texas and the Austin area after it’s debut in Dallas area a few years back as In-N-Out has applied for permits to build a central Austin location at 4508 N. I-35 near Hancock center.
Carl Van Fleet, the vice president of planning and development for In-N-Out Burger, said the location is a good fit for the burger chain.
“It is a great site in a vibrant area with good proximity to I-35. … We’re really enthusiastic about the opportunity there,” he said.
Currently there’s no set date for the opening of the location, but after construction starts it typically takes 4-5 months before opening. The location in Round Rock is due to open later this fall, but sooner or later In-N-Out will be available as one of many other burger choices in town.
